Silent Service is the 77th overall episode of JAG, and the 16th of Season 4.
Synopsis[]
The U.S.S. Watertown (a fictional Los Angeles-class attack submarine) broaches in the middle of a Scandinavian sailing regatta after most of its morning watch falls ill to food poisoning. Harm and Mac (who are currently at odds with each other) are sent to the Watertown to investigate the mishap; in the middle of their investigation, a sailor is struck dead by a failure in a high-pressure air line. Mac disagrees with most of Harm's theories until he corners the medic, Chief Corpsman Hodge, with suspicions that Hodge has been causing most of the Watertown's onboard illnesses and malfunctions to satisfy his own ego. When Hodge disables both Harm and Mac, they must work together to stop him from hurting or killing the rest of the ship's company.
